Laia Bonet

Laia Bonet is the deputy mayor of Barcelona for urbanism, ecological transition, mobility and housing, prior to which she served as deputy mayor of Barcelona for the 2030 Agenda, the Digital Transition and International Relations. She has held roles as secretary of the government of Catalonia, and as a member of the Catalan parliament. Since 2020, Laia has also chaired the Eurocities' Knowledge Society Forum.

Laia obtained her bachelor's in law from Pompeu Fabra University, where she is a professor of administrative law, in addition holding a professorship of communications law at Blanquerna University.
