Shobhaa De on the economist who cooks and dances

Columnist and writer Shobhaa De meets Abhijit Banerjee, Nobel laureate in economics and co-founder and co-director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), at the Jaipur Literary Festival where she discovers his second passion after economics, food. Abhijit is the author of 'Cooking to save your life' (2021), a collection of recipes the economist enjoys serving to friends and family, intertwined with lessons of economics.
