COP27, held in Egypt’s Sharm El-Sheikh this year, demonstrated that countries from Africa, the Middle East and South America are ambitiously adopting innovative strategies in policymaking and are sharing their climate actions, experiences and lessons learned to enhance transparency in tackling the climate crisis.
